Anne Arundel County and the Anne Arundel Commission on Disability Issues present DisABILITY Awareness Day 2011 at Westfield Annapolis Mall, in the atrium located next to the Crate & Barrel store. The public is invited to attend this day of information and help on transportation, employment, housing, recreation, and access to services for those with disabilities. Accessibility and Employer Awards will be presented by County Executive John R. Leopold. The DisABILITY Awareness Day award will be given to Carolyn Fiume, an advocate for children with disabilities, who has dedicated her life to creating a network of support and resources for families and educators alike.
