The First Annual Harvest Beer Festival will showcase beers from local breweries, mid-Western and Western breweries and European mainstays, all under a tent at scenic Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville. Admission includes a souvenir sampling glass, 2 oz. samplings of over 50 beers and entrance to the brewer sessions. There will also be live music and food to pair with the beers. Designated drivers are encouraged to attend for a nominal fee of $10, which includes a free soda and meal coupon. Children may attend for free, although tasters must be at least 21 years of age. Portions of the proceeds will benefit Scenic Rivers Land Trust, a non-profit organization that works with landowners and other partners to preserve natural and scenic areas in Anne Arundel County.
