All are welcome to join this three-mile "Out of the Darkness" suicide prevention walk. Teams from Glen Burnie, North County and South River High Schools are scheduled to participate. This is the third walk to take place in Annapolis and coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day. Anne Arundel County Public Schools mental health professionals will be on site to answer questions and provide support, while other information and resources regarding suicide prevention, bereavement and depression will be available. Check-in for the event begins at 8:00 a.m., with opening ceremonies scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church and go to City Dock and back.
