- Food Drive : Thursday-Saturday - to benefit the Crofton Food Pantry (a cooperative effort of six Crofton-area churches) and the Heritage Baptist Food Pantry in Annapolis. Make a donation of a non-perishable food item and receive a coupon for a free cup of Roundz custom-roasted coffee or freshly brewed tea.

- "Name that Food" challenge: Roundz Gourmet Market is all about food education! Test your foodie knowledge and see if you rate Novice or Gourmand and win a scratch-off coupon good for discounts on Roundz purchases.

- Drawing for prizes. Register any time Thursday through Saturday for a drawing Saturday at the close of business. You need not be present to win. Grand prize: carry-out gourmet dinner for two, includes main course, two sides and a dessert. 2nd prize: Roundz jersey. 3rd prize: unique kitchenware item.

- Face Painting and Live Music: on Saturday, bring the children for lunch and enjoy free face painting by a local artist. At 11:30, there will be an acoustic guitar performance by John & Company.

- Free Samples all weekend of Roundz custom spice blends for barbecue and poultry.

-Cooking demonstrations: Thursday-Saturday- Chef Pope and the Roundz Gourmet staff will offer 5-minute demonstrations on a variety of topics, such as preparing diver scallops; the secret to a perfect stuffed chicken breast; why use a spaghetti vegetable peeler?; and understanding and choosing the right unique cooking oil.
