Gambrills Man Killed in Howard County Crash: Police
The 29-year-old hit a tree, according to police.

A 29-year-old Gambrills man was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Howard County Sunday morning, according to the Howard County Police Department.
At approximately 4:36 a.m. on Sunday, Nicholas Thomas Morrison was driving west on Guilford Road near Stirling Bridge Drive when his 2002 Nissan Frontier went off the road and hit a tree, police reported.
Preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, police said.

Morrison, of the 800 block of Maple Avenue in Gambrills, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
Police said he was taken to Howard County General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Two of Morrison’s passengers were injured, according to police. Francis Jonathan Everett, 26, of Columbia, and Garland Leon Stewart Jr., 19, of Columbia, were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where police said they were listed in stable condition Sunday morning.
Guilford Road was closed until 6:15 a.m., according to the report, which said the crash remains under investigation.
