Gymboree Play & Music Opens New Location in Crofton
The center will provide creative activities for children to stimulate growth and learning.

Crofton will welcome a new Gymboree Play & Music Center in The Village at Waugh Chapel.
To celebrate the opening, Gymboree Play & Music will hold free open houses for parents and children starting Sept. 2, prior to the grand opening on Sept. 13.
The center offers classes in music, art, sports and school skills that use play-based activities to support growth in children.

“I’m excited to bring this wonderful program to the Crofton community,” said Amy Smith, program director of the Crofton Gymboree Play & Music. “From the moment they walk in the door, parents can see that we’ve evolved our one-of-a-kind environment to offer even more discovery for children to play, explore and learn safely.”
The new location, which is near shopping outlets and grocery stores, was chosen to allow parents to prioritize spending time with their children while also being able to run daily errands, owner Jillian Kingwood said.
