Local Cub Scout Pack Honors Fallen Veterans

Cub Scout Pack 111 from Crofton participated in a special flag placement ceremony at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery on May 28.

On Saturday, May 28, Cub Scout Pack 111 from Crofton took part in a special ceremony at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery honoring fallen veterans for Memorial Day. Representatives from Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and more were on hand to help place a new American flag on each gravestone of approximately 18,000 veterans buried at the memorial cemetery. The annual tradition is a wonderful way to honor those who gave their lives in service to their country.
