Meet the Author: Dwayne Renal Sims

The (CRCC) is holding their 2nd Annual Book Lovers Auction on November 12 in Crofton. MD at the Banquet Room from 4-7 pm. This is to raise funds for a community center in Crofton, MD.  

In the year of 2003 Dwayne Renal Sims took on a new endeavor that has become part of his passion - the Negro League Legends Hall of Fame.

As Founder and CEO he has been involved with several events sponsored personally, to share the rich untold story in American Baseball History the baseball players from the Colored Professional and Negro Leagues who played for the “Love of the Game.”

March 2011 Dwayne’s new book release Scurlock “Negro Leagues” was released. Scurlock Photographic Studio opened in 1911 by Addison N. Scurlock. The studio is responsible for capturing the social life, events and the architect of the buildings in the nation’s capital.

The CRCC is a non-profit, tax-free organization. At the same time in the outside parking lot, there will be a free Children's Festival and an antique car show.
