Odenton Man Charged With Pointing Gun At Crofton Teen

An Odenton man who showed up at a Crofton house to fight pointed a gun at 17-year-old, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

CROFTON, MD — An Odenton man who showed up at a Crofton house to fight pointed a gun at 17-year-old, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The assault happened about 3 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Savoy Court in Crofton for a subject armed with a gun. The 17-year-old victim said Dwayne Bryant, 19, of the 2400 block of Blue Spring Court in Odenton, tried to force his way into a residence to fight.

When the teen confronted Bryant outside, the pair argued and Bryant allegedly threatened the teen with a handgun. He then got into a vehicle and drove away, police said.

Several officers searched the area and found Bryant nearby. He had a BB gun with him that looked like a real firearm, authorities said. Bryant was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, attempted first-degree burglary and related charges.
