A man reported he was shot at a Royal Farm store on Route 3, but Anne Arundel County Police can find no crime scene.

UPDATED at 3:40 p.m. CROFTON, MD — Callers reporting a shooting in the Crofton area Tuesday had Anne Arundel County Police searching for a crime scene at area Royal Farm stores and questioning just what happened.

Police spokesman Lt. Ryan Frashure told Patch that the victim reported he was shot in the leg 20 to 30 minutes before he called police. He was at another location and said it happened during an attempted robbery at a Royal Farm store, but was unclear where, possibly on Route 3.
