Shrimp, Scallop Sale Hosted By Crofton Chamber Moved To July 25

CROFTON, MD — The Crofton Chamber of Commerce's mega shrimp and scallop sale originally planned for July 18 has been moved to July 25 due to a scheduling conflict. The sale will still run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with pickup at Homestead Gardens, 743 West Central Ave., in Davidsonville. Available items for purchase include North Carolina "greentails" shrimp and North Carolina scallops.

According to the chamber, both items are harvested off the North Carolina Coastline by fishermen personally known by chamber officials. Purchases will be delivered in a contactless manner to buyers' vehicles at Homestead Gardens. Anyone interested in purchasing shrimp or scallops should visit www.croftonchamber.com/sssale.
