Two 18-Year-Olds Arrested in Crofton Car Thefts: Police

Anne Arundel County Police have charged teens from Crofton and Dundalk with stealing from cars.

CROFTON, MD — Two teenagers have been charged with stealing credit cards from vehicles in a Crofton neighborhood, authorities say.

Residents called Anne Arundel County Police about 11:30 p.m. Saturday to report two men in the area of Holly Hills Lane and 7 Oaks Terrace were attempting to get into vehicles.

An officer responded to the area of Chelmsford Drive and quickly located and detained two 18-year-olds fitting the description, who were identified by witnesses.

Both suspects had latex gloves with them, along with loose change and credit cards not in their names, police say. Several victims were located in the 1900 block of 7 Oaks Terrace.

  • Phil Mpho Matibe, 18, from the 2900 block of Cold Spring Way in Crofton
  • Maceo Senitel Harrell, 18, from the 2000 block of Paulette Road in Dundalk
