Congratulations to all of the athletes from Vuong’s taekwondo National Team who qualified and participated in the 2015 USA TAEKWONDO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS July 4-11, 2015, Austin, Texas! Keeping Austin weird! Training is quite brutal, but, fun comes with it too! Thanks to all of the coaches, Master Chien Vuong, Master Mike Obrien, Jackie Kline, Dave Arlene, Ron Rojers, and Jonathan Kline
MIKA VUONG awarded double GOLD, Poomsae and Sparring! Weird, following a serious practice, Master Chien Vuong was having fun with the athletes doing Cartwheels and planning fun for the kids! Awesome first day practice in Austin, Texas! Congrats Mika!

CHRISTOPHER SMITH (CADET 12-14) NATIONAL GOLD MEDALIST 2015 in sparring and was gasping for the SILVER MEDAL during his poomsae performance! Weird, when Christopher started taekwondo he would try to sneak out of the sparring class! Congrats Chris!
BRADY HANNON (YOUTH 10-11) NATIONAL GOLD MEDALIST 2015 in sparring! Brady Hannon was known as the “Beast” in Austin during the National Tournament! Congrats Brady!

DILLON AND LUCAS FLORES “TWINS”, (YOUTH 10-11) 2015 NATIONAL GOLD, SILVER, AND BRONZE MEDALIST in sparring and forms. Weird, Dillon and Lucas sparred each other during the final Gold round. Dillon was still treating a previous knee injury and his twin brother Lucas continued to spar with a broken hand, “from a previous sparring round that day!” Congrats twins!
