Waldorf Man Charged in Crofton Gun Case

A police check early Tuesday morning of a vehicle at Crofton Mini Storage led to weapon and gun charges, authorities say.

During a search of the vehicle about 1:30 a.m., officers reportedly found a loaded Glock .40-caliber handgun in the center console, two loaded 22-round magazines, and one loaded 13-round magazine.

The vehicle’s occupant, Mitrell Tedock Strong, 34, of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with possessing a handgun on a person, handgun in a vehicle and CDS paraphernalia, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
