When Does Santa Arrive in Crofton?

The Crofton Country Club will host the tree-lighting ceremony on Dec. 1.

The holidays officially begin in Crofton on Dec. 1 with the Crofton Civic Association’s tree-lighting ceremony at Crofton Country Club.

According to the town hall website, the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton children’s choir will sing carols outside the Country Club beginning at 6:45 p.m. that night.

People are encouraged to bring flashlights while awaiting Santa’s arrival. Santa Claus will arrive by Arundel Volunteer Fire Department fire truck at 7 p.m., which is when the tree will be illuminated.
