7-Year-Old Hit by Car in Dundalk: Police

A boy was airlifted from Dundalk Tuesday after a vehicle hit him as he was crossing the street, police reported.

DUNDALK, MD โ€“ A 7-year-old boy was flown to Johns Hopkins Tuesday after being hit by a car, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

Authorities said they responded to the 100 block of Ventnor Terrace, where the boy had been hit while crossing the street before 5 p.m.

The vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene, according to police.

The 7-year-old was flown by Maryland State Police medevac to Johns Hopkins Pediatrics, officials said.

He was seriously injured, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
