BALTIMORE, MD — A worker at the Port of Baltimore's Dundalk Marine Terminal died Monday after being hit by a piece of equipment, according to police.
A release issued by the Maryland Transportation Authority Police states the incident was reported to authorities shortly before 9 a.m.
First responders carried out life-saving measures at the terminal before the man was hospitalized. However, he was later pronounced dead.
"The thoughts of the MDTA Police are with the victim and his family," reads a statement from the agency.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
