"Boo Thru" Halloween Event For Kids Oct. 23 In Baltimore County
Boo Thru aims to be a safer event during the pandemic. A scary Halloween experience will be at Bennett's Curse Haunted House in Dundalk.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The first "Boo Thru" event hosted by the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks will be Oct. 23 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the North Point Government Center. The parks and rec department has planned out this event to help families enjoy the Halloween experience in a safe manner.
Local organizations and businesses are encouraged to set up a tent at the parking lots of the regional community centers in the north, west, northeast and southeast areas of the county.
Those seeking a scary Halloween treat can visit Bennett's Curse Haunted House at Eastpoint Mall in Dundalk. There will be two pandemic-friendly, socially-distanced haunted house nights at the mall, but without live actors to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Instead, animation will be used. The socially-distanced haunted house nights are Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. The haunted house will hold the traditional scary experience all other nights it's open.
