Burning Odor At Sparrows Point Under Investigation

SPARROWS POINT, MD — Sparrows Point High School has been evacuated, officials say. There was an odor of burning inside the school, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Crews were dispatched to the school in the 7400 block of North Point Road at 10:49 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, authorities said.

No injuries were reported.

Crews remained at the scene investigating after 11 a.m.
