Car Jumps Curb Near Dundalk High School, Sending 6 Kids To Hospital: Police

A Honda Accord jumped a curb and struck six juveniles on a sidewalk near Dundalk High School, Baltimore County police said.

DUNDALK, MD — Six juveniles were hospitalized after a car jumped a curb and struck them on a sidewalk near Dundalk High School on Friday afternoon, according to Baltimore County police.

The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. near Delvale and Holabird avenues.

According to police, a 2012 Honda Accord was traveling north on Delvale Avenue when it struck a curb, traveled onto the sidewalk and hit six pedestrians near the high school.

All six juveniles were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said a seventh person was evaluated at the scene but refused transport.

Police have not said what caused the driver to strike the curb or released additional information about the driver.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
