CAREER ADVICE FOR 'PLUS 50' JOB SEEKERS
CCBC workshop "College is Not Just for Kids" 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Aug. 15, Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church Family Life Center "Back to School Fair"
The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) will be participating in the “Back to School Fair,” sponsored by the Mount Calvary A.M.E. Church Family Life Center, on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 349 Eudowood Lane, Towson, Md. The event is free and open to the public.
The CCBC Senior Institute will be hosting a workshop at the event from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. titled “College is Not Just for Kids,” a part of the Plus 50 programs. Learn about classes and programs are designed to open the workforce market to the mature student who may be seeking career training options or an upgrade of skills to continue employment or volunteer activities. Also learn about the programs that are grant eligible. Information on careers and certifications in Business and Small Business, Computers, Health, Trades and Manufacturing will be presented.
