Dundalk Heritage Fair 2014

The 2014 Dundalk Heritage Fair runs on June 27th, 28th & 29th in, cool and comfortable, tree shaded and grass carpeted, Dundalk Heritage Park. Once again it features headline music acts who have earned Gold Records, Grammy Awards and other music industry accolades, plus they are still great singers and musicians.

On Stage 1 Shipway, Friday the 27th has Heart by Heart (with two original members of the band Heart) as the headliner. Saturday the 28th features Rock and Rollers Night Ranger. Sunday the 29th will end the fair with Travis Tritt delivering Country Music deluxe to the folks there at the fair.

There are two stages at the fair, and Stage 2 has some good music too. All over the fairgrounds, there is a lot for children to have fun with, and also great stuff for people of all ages to enjoy. The food is really good and there are crafts vendors with really nice goods for sale. The Fair is being held the weekend before July Fourth so that there is enough money to pay for the Fourth of July Parade ($30,000 budgeted just for the marching bands) and the July 4th Fireworks. Your $7.00 daily admission fee to the Heritage Fair - with children 12 and under entering for free - is a bargain for the music acts playing, and it helps Dundalk have one of the biggest and best 4th of July Independence Day Celebrations in the USA.
