Get Out: Comedy Improv, Xanadu, Ghosts and More

Summer's not over, yet. There's lots to do this weekend and we've picked out some of the highlights.

Where/When: Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave., Patterson Park. Three shows Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., Sunday at 7 p.m.

2. Baltimore Summer Restaurant Week

Where/When: Dundalk, Greektown, Harbor East, Fells Point, Little Italy and more. Thru Aug. 14. Costas Inn on North Point Boulevard, Jimmy's Famous Seafood on Holabird Avenue and Ikaros on Eastern Avenue in Greektown, among participating restaurants.

Why Go: From the website: " Participating restaurants will offer special prix-fixe dinner menus for $35.11 and some will have lunch menus for $20.11."

3. Xanadu 

Where/When: Toby's Dinner Theatre, 5625 O'Donnell Street, Baltimore. Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Sunday matinee at 10:30 a.m.

Why Go: Campy remake of classic 1980s hit musical starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly.

4. Fell's Point Ghost PubWalk

Where/When: Starts at Max's Sidebar, 731 S. Broadway. Every Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Why Go: From the website: "Step through the doors of some of Fell's Point's most haunted pubs for this fascinating tour of the historic maritime neighborhood."

Where/When: White Marsh Mall, 8200 Perry Hall Blvd., Nottingham. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Why Go: From Perry Hall Patch From the '80s through the Aughties, White Marsh Mall has become a major shopping destination in eastern Baltimore County. In honor of its 30th anniversary, a three-day celebration is planned for Aug. 12-14.

Activities will focus on bridging the gap between 1981 and 2011, said Jessica Benson, mall associate marketing manager.

Weather permitting, an outdoor movie at 8 p.m. on Friday will show the 1981 hit film, "Raiders of the Lost Ark," and a fashion show at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday will feature styles from both eras.

"I think the fashion show is going to be huge," she said. "From a 10-month-old to adults, we have all ages and genders participating."
