Man Found Deceased Outside Eastpoint Mall: Police

DUNDALK, MD — Authorities said a man was found deceased outside Eastpoint Mall on Monday morning. When they were dispatched to a cardiac arrest at approximately 8:46 a.m., officers said they discovered a body near a dumpster.

The body was found behind Kool Smiles, a dental health provider at the mall.

The man appeared to have suffered upper body trauma in a "non-criminal event" that led to his death, police reported.

Covered in plastic bags from his neck to his ankles, the man may have been sheltering next to the dumpster, police told ABC 2 News.

The identity of the decedent was not released. His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, police said.
