Man Shot Dead in Parkville, Baltimore County Police Say

Police say there is a reward offered for information about the suspect.

A man was killed in a shooting near his home in Parkville Sunday night, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

At 10:48 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive for a shooting, according to the report from police.

When authorities arrived, a man with multiple gunshot wounds was lying in an alley, the report said.

The victim—Ramel Keith Baker, 30, of the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive—was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead, police reported.

Baker had been in an alley when he was approached and shot by the suspect, police said.

Authorities are still trying to determine whether the crime was targeted, according to police.
