National Night Out Events In Baltimore County Moved To Oct. 6

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — National Night Out events across Baltimore County have been reschedule to Oct. 6. National Night Out organizers have recommended that all of its participating communities bump their events to later this year due to the coronavirus. Events typically are held on the first Tuesday in August and are designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement.

Sergeant Vickie Warehime, director of public affairs for the Baltimore County Police Department, told Patch that each outreach unit within the department receives a list of National Night Out events planned for their communities and then plan a visit to each one.
