'No Contest' Declared in Dundalk's Kids' Haircuts Poll
Four salons tie with one vote each in this week's Readers' Choice.
What a difference a week makes.

Nearly 1,000 votes were cast, and a total of eight places received votes.

This week, Patch asked you to weigh in on your favorite place to get kids' haircuts.
Only four votes were cast, which unfortunately ended in a four-way tie, with four salons—Dejavu Salon and Spa, Hair Cuttery, Bonnie's Unisex Hairshop and Great Clips—each receiving one vote.

Since none of the four salons received any comments below the article, nor did any of them get reviewed at Patch Places, the votes carry all the weight this week.
In talking with folks around town about the poll this week—and the lack of participation—many people said they cut their own kids' hair, and with the popularity of buzz cuts for boys, it's easy to do.
Girls with long hair get home trims as well, parents told Patch.
While we congratulate all four salons for each getting a vote, Dundalk Patch is declaring a "no contest" this week in its Readers' Choice poll.
As in many recent presidential elections, there just isn't a clear mandate.
And we can't blame this one on hanging chads.
Up next week: Favorite sandwich place.
