Officer Crashes Into Telephone Pole To Avoid Collision: Police

DUNDALK, MD — Shortly before 3 p.m. Jan. 1, a Baltimore County police officer traveling on North Point Road near Pinewood Road in a marked patrol car had a vehicle make a left turn in front of the patrol car. The officer swerved to avoid striking the vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole. The officer was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to a police report.
