School In Dundalk Closed On Thursday: BCPS
Mechanical problems has prompted the closure of one elementary school in Dundalk.
DUNDALK, MD — Charlesmont Elementary School will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 8. The reason was mechanical issues at the school, officials said.
Baltimore County Public Schools announced Wednesday night that the Dundalk school at 7800 West Collingham Drive would be closed.
In addition to the closure of the school during the day, authorities said that all after-school and evening activities will be canceled for Thursday, Nov. 8.

News that school was canceled Thursday came after Charlesmont Elementary School dismissed students early, closing at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, due to mechanical issues, according to Baltimore County Public Schools.
All afternoon and evening activities were canceled Wednesday at Charlesmont as well, officials reported.
