Pedestrian Killed In Dundalk: Police

Police said that a Dundalk man was trying to cross Belclare Road Sunday afternoon when he was hit.

DUNDALK, MD โ€” Police said a Dundalk man was killed Sunday afternoon on Belclare Road. The pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Victor Lengrand Sr., 87, of the 3400 block of Dundalk Avenuee, was crossing Belclare Road near Dundalk Avenue around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, police said.

A 2007 Ford E350 van was headed west on Dundalk Avenue when it hit Lengrand, who was in the marked crosswalk, according to authorities.

Lengrand was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, police said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
