Pedestrian Killed in Dundalk on Presidents Day: Police

Police said a Dundalk man was hit by a truck on Trappe Road Monday night.

DUNDALK, MD — A pedestrian was killed Monday night when he was hit by a truck in Dundalk, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Eugene Paul Kozdras, 61, of the 3000 block of Wallford Drive, had stepped into Trappe Road near North Point Road at approximately 9:18 p.m., officials reported.

A 1994 Ford F-150 that was headed north on Trappe Road hit Kozdras, who police said was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center; there, he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the truck stayed at the scene, and the Baltimore County Police Department is investigating the crash, officials said Tuesday morning.
