Pepper Spray Sickens Students At Holabird Middle: Report
A fight at Holabird Middle School on Friday reportedly left multiple people feeling ill.

DUNDALK, MD — One student was hospitalized and many others reportedly were feeling ill after a school resource officer used pepper spray to break up girls fighting at Holabird Middle School on Friday. One person was taken to the hospital for chest pains, according to Fox 45, which said that the school had resumed normal operations by 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22.
The fight broke out in the cafeteria around 12:10 p.m., according to The Baltimore Sun.
Both students and employees at the school in the 1700 block of Delvale Road felt effects from the pepper spray, such as burning eyes, WJZ reported.
