Teen Charged in Deadly Stabbing of Mom's Boyfriend in Dundalk: Police

An argument between a couple on North Point Road turned deadly after 16-year-old son allegedly intervened, police said.

DUNDALK, MD — A 16-year-old has been charged in the stabbing death of his mother's boyfriend off North Point Road Saturday night, according to officials.

David Paul Thomas, 16, of the 2800 block of Henley Avenue in Aberdeen, was charged as an adult with manslaughter in the assault.

Authorities said they were called to the 3300 block of North Point Road for a report of an assault at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday and found a man with stab wounds in his backyard.

Richard William Zenobia, 35, of the 3300 block of North Point Road, been arguing with his live-in girlfriend, when the argument continued between him and the woman's teenage son in the backyard. That was where Thomas allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Zenobia multiple times, according to police.

Officials took Zenobia to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased at 9:30 p.m.

Police said Sunday that Thomas was denied bail.
