Sparrows Point Water Rescue: Life-Threatening Injuries Reported
Officials said an individual was found in a pool in Sparrows Point Saturday with life-threatening injuries.
DUNDALK, MD โ Authorities say a person was pulled from a pool Saturday in Sparrows Point. Initially a medevac was summoned but it was canceled, and the individual was being taken by ambulance to the hospital, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported.
Crews were dispatched to the 9000 block of Cuckold Point Road for an open water rescue call at 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, according to officials.
The victim had been pulled from the water, and crews were setting up a landing site for the helicopter after 5:45 p.m., authorities reported.

Before 6 p.m., officials said the medevac was canceled, and an ambulance would take the victim, who had life-threatening injuries.
The individual was being taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment, Fire Specialist Nicholas Tyson told Patch.
