Stolen Quilt Reunited With Owner: Baltimore County Police
Baltimore County police said within 24 hours of asking for help finding the owner of a handmade quilt, the person who created it was found.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The handmade quilt that was found in a motel in Baltimore has been returned to its rightful owner, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Officers found the quilt amid a trove of items that suspected package thieves had allegedly pinched from residences throughout Baltimore County.
On Monday, police announced the arrest of the theft suspects and asked for information about the quilt, which was one of several items that authorities said were found that had not been reported stolen. The quilt was described as being handmade and double-sided, with a heartfelt inscription sewn into it.
The quilt was found at the Deluxe Motel in the 6300 block of Pulaski Highway along with the suspects, police said.
