Yannuzzi Honored by Arc Baltimore

Linda Yannuzzi is the 2015 winner of The Arc Baltimore's Community Connection Award.

Linda Yannuzzi is the 2015 winner of The Arc’s Community Connection Award. The award recognizes the Arc staff person who fosters opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to make friends and build relationships in the larger community.

As The Arc’s Coordinator of Psychological Services, Linda takes care of all of the planning and logistics for the organization’s Connections singles group. She has coordinated harbor cruises, bull roasts, and many holiday-themed dances that always sell out. Each event provides an opportunity for individuals to stay connected with their significant others and friends, or possibly find romance for the very first time.

None of these events would be possible without Linda. She has dedicated countless volunteer hours to Connections and, as a result, has brought many people out of their shell and has helped many to find love and friendship. Linda’s endless creativity and energy is why Connections has been such a huge success.
