Knife At Southern High: Officers Charge 2 Minors After Finding Weapons, Trespasser
A knife and a trespasser at Southern High School prompted charges against two minors, police said.

HARWOOD, MD — Police announced that they charged two minors Thursday at Southern High School after learning that one was trespassing and that the other had a knife.
Authorities turned out to the Harwood facility around 7:30 a.m. following reports that there may have been a male juvenile on campus who did not attend the school and had a blade. School employees spotted the suspect and confirmed that he didn't go to Southern High, a press release said.
The school resource officer, and other law enforcement that responded as a precaution, said they found the accused male with pepper spray and a smoking device containing suspected marijuana residue. The male entered the school with a female companion who attends Southern High. Police said they found that female suspect with a knife.
