3 Children, 2 Adults Injured In Harwood Car Crash: Officials

Three children and an adult were transported by air ambulance to the hospital after being involved in a car crash with another driver.

HARWOOD, MD — Five individuals, including three children, were involved in a crash Nov. 5 in Harwood. The accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday along Solomons Island Road and Owensville Road. All four people in the car that police said struck the rear of another vehicle were taken by Maryland State Police helicopter to John Hopkins Hospital with injuries that were serious but not believed to be life-threatening. The four individuals are ages 32, 13, 10 and five.

A 57-year-old woman in the other vehicle that was hit was taken by ambulance to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries, reported the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. The Annapolis Fire Department also assisted with the incident.
