EDGEWATER, MD — Pumpkin picking is a fun way for family and friends to spend time together, let the kids gear up for Halloween, and enjoy crisp fall days with highs in the 60s that make this weekend the perfect time to visit a pumpkin patch in Anne Arundel County.
Patch has compiled a list of some places where you can take part in the well-loved fall activity. Many of the pumpkin picking locations offer a little bit of everything for fall fun, such as fall festivals and hayrides, along with playgrounds and petting zoos.

Homestead Gardens’ Fall Festival runs every weekend in October, and corn maze, food, events and, of course, pumpkins.

Greenstreet Gardens Fall Festival & Corn Maze
Hayride, 6-acre corn maze, pumpkins available for sale, jumping pillow, cow train, corn boxes, and more. Cost: $13; $10 for ages 65 and older and active or retired military with ID; free for ages 2 and younger. Hours: weekends through October 30, 10:30am to 5 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4 p.m.)

Knightongale Farm
Located at the corner of Birdsville Road and of Route 2, the farm hosts a Fall Festival featuring a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, pony rides.

St. Martin's Lutheran Church/Lighthouse Shelter
The shelter in Annapolis is selling thousands of pumpkins for a good cause. The fundraiser is geared at helping homeless resident in Anne Arundel County. You can grab a pumpkin from noon to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. There are also seasonal crafts and dozens of baked goods. Bring canned food to donate.

Y Worry Farm
The 10th annual Agriculture Education Day, sponsored by the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation and the Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau,will be held at 1501 Rossback Road on Sunday, October 16. The Davidsonville fall family venue features a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, corn maze, farm animals food, music & games.
No fee for admission, entertainment, and most activities, which include scarecrow station (bring children clothing to build your scarecrow), pony rides, corn maze and the MD Agricultural showcase, an interactive agriculture educational experience. Party Pac entertainment is back offering DJ entertainment, fun and games. There will also be farm animals and a pick your own pumpkin patch, plus much more.
