EDGEWATER, MD — This week, residents turned out in droves to participate in Chick-fil-A's "Cow Appreciation Day." In Edgewater, one family brought in the real deal to snag their free entrée.
While many opted for inflatable cow costumes, face paint or onesies, Davidsonville's FAFO Farms kicked things up a notch by driving a baby cow to the Edgewater Chick-fil-A.
FAFO Farms shared footage of the unexpected arrival online. See video of the interaction.
"We went the extra step. Instead of dressing up, we just brought one," a person is heard saying off-camera.
How did Chick-fil-A employees react in the drive-thru lane? With shocked gasps, appreciation, and a quick photo of the cow in the backseat.
"Extra credit," one employee said.

The "Eat Mor Chikin" brand held its appreciation day on Tuesday in honor of its 80 years in business. The last time the company held the event was in 2019.
