EDGEWATER, MD — One of Anne Arundel County's more than 200 marinas just sold for $1.1 million in Edgewater.
The Misty Morning Marina, located at 1052 Old Turkey Point Road, was sold by Redemption Song LLC and acquired by AYB Marina LLC, according to Hyatt Commercial.
The sale of the Selby Bay marina includes nearly 700 feet of waterfront frontage, two piers, a boat ramp and a newly renovated building that offers over 3,200 square feet of space. The property, which provides access to the Chesapeake Bay, is zoned for commercial use.
"Burr Yacht Sales is an excellent fit for Misty Morning Marina, given its existing presence next door and deep roots in the local boating community," Jeff Griesbauer, the vice president of the Marina and Waterfront Industrial at Hyatt Commercial, said in a statement.
"We're confident the property will be in very good hands. This transaction will be a great opportunity for both the buyer and the marina."

News of the Edgewater sale comes as members of the Annapolis Yacht Club voted this week in favor of buying the Annapolis City Marina.
Naptown Scoop reported that the sale would give the club control of the fuel dock, dozens of boat slips and more than 50 parking spots. The deal carries a $10.75 million price tag.
