The Anne Arundel Health System (AAHS) Board of Trustees has named two new members for the upcoming year:
- John Belcher, of Edgewater
- Carlesa R. Finney, of Glen Burnie
John Belcher is chairman and chief executive officer of ARINC Incorporated. Belcher is Chair of the AAMC Foundation Board and has also chaired the recent AAMC Foundation Care Like No Other Campaign. He has served as a member of the AAMC Cancer Campaign Cabinet. Belcher is very active in this community having also served on the Board of the Historic Annapolis Foundation and as Chairman of the Annapolis History Center campaign.
Carlesa Finney is the Director of Equity Assurance and Human Relations for Anne Arundel County (Maryland) Public Schools (AACPS). Prior to work in AACPS, she served for 12 years as Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment at Anne Arundel Community College. Finney was recently selected as one Maryland’s Top 100 Women for 2011.

The officers of the AAHS Board of Trustee are: George Moran, chair; Biana Arentz, vice chair; Admiral Charles Larson (ret.), treasurer; and Kent McNew, secretary.
Other members of the AAHS Board of Trustees are: Victoria W. Bayless, June Caudill, Paul Elder, MD, James P. Ellerson, Ed Gosselin, Jason L. Groves, Esq., Barry Jackson, Gary Jobson, Maulik S. Joshi, Dr. P.H., Douglas Mitchell, MD, Christina O’Meara and Leisa C. Russell.
