UPDATE: Name Withheld of Bicyclist Found Dead on Friendship Road
A man in his 40s was found dead on a road in the Friendship area Wednesday. Anne Arundel County authorities don't plan to release his name.

UPDATED at 7:45 p.m Thursday FRIENDSHIP, MD — Authorities don't plan to release the name of a bicyclist who may have suffered a medical problem and was found dead in a road near Friendship on Wednesday, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
There was no indication the rider was hit by a vehicle.
A police spokesman said the victim's family has asked for privacy and he had no family living in the area.

Firefighters were called to the area of Fairhaven Road and Leary Road about 11:15 a.m. where they found a man in his 40s lying face down in the roadway, fire department Capt. Russ Davies told The Capital-Gazette.
Emergency responders tried to resuscitate the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Davies said.
