Bicyclist Struck by Car in Edgewater
County emergency officials say the man was flown by helicopter to Shock Trauma Baltimore.
A bicyclist was flown to Shock Trauma Baltimore following an accident in Edgewater Thursday morning.
Anne Arundel County Fire says the accident was reported just after 11:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Mayo Road.
The 34-year-old man riding a bike was hit by a car and injured. Paramedics treated the victim, who was air-lifted to the hospital by Maryland State Police helicopter.

Authorities have not said if there is a suspect or arrest in the case, or released the condition of the victim.
