Nico’s Bagels & Brunch is thrilled to invite the community to the Grand Opening of their new location on Thursday, July 9 starting at 10:00 am. Located at 100 Central Avenue, the Edgewater restaurant will be the brand's second location, serving their signature NY-Style bagels, creative bagelwiches, and the viral weekend-only "Crabby Bagel.” The eatery’s flagship shop in Crofton became a neighborhood favorite when it opened in 2025.
The new Edgewater location will officially open to the public on Thursday, July 9 with a grand opening celebration, ribbon cutting and check presentation.
The first 44 people in line will receive a free breakfast sandwich, and the store’s Crabby Bagel (normally only served on weekends) will also be available in celebration of the opening throughout the entire month of July. Guests who also download the Nico's Bagels app and place their first mobile order will receive $5 off their first mobile order. Nico's will present a check for $30,500 to the Nico's Hope for Life Foundation, representing proceeds from every HOPE Bagel sold since the first Nico's location opened in Crofton in 2025.
Founded by Jerry Osuna and Dan and Joy Shields and built around community and connection, Nico’s Bagels & Brunch aims to create a welcoming gathering space for guests while promoting positivity and mental health awareness. A portion of their signature teal and purple HOPE Bagels also is donated to Nico's Hope For Life Foundation, a suicide prevention nonprofit dedicated to Jerry’s late son, Nico Osuna.
