Cash Snatched From Register Of Edgewater Royal Farms Store

EDGEWATER, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for the man who reportedly snatched cash from the register of the Royal Farms store in Edgewater and fled Sunday night. No weapon was shown during the robbery, which happened about 10:45 p.m. at the store, 301 Londontown Road.

A store clerk told officers that the suspect walked up to the counter, and as the clerk opened the register, the man immediately reached over and grabbed an undetermined amount of currency. The suspect then fled the store on foot.

Several police officers searched the area but they were unable to locate the suspect. The store clerk was not hurt in the robbery.

Police say the suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, heavy set, wearing dark clothing and sunglasses.
