David Wayne Bright, 57, of Harwood, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Born in Laurel on October 29, 1958 to the late John Henry and Ruby Lee Bright, David was a skilled carpenter and handyman with a passion for NASCAR, country music and dirt track racing.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Barbara Russomanno-Bright; daughter, Stacey; step-children, Angie (Dave) Verras and Vince (Jonathan) Russomanno; and sisters, Linda (Phil) Merson, Barbara Lawson and Jane Mullis. He will be missed by his 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to celebrate David’s life from 4 p.m. until his funeral service begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater.
