Dr. Arthur Fridley of Shady Side died May 7 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Elizabeth "Betty" F. Edmondo passed peacefully on May 6 at her home of more than 60 years on the South River, surrounded by her family. She was well known in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County as a singer, business owner and volunteer.

Shirley Ann Sollers, 68, of Annapolis, died on May 6 at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Sollers United Methodist Church in Lothian.

Blanche Fiora died May 6.

Joan Selph died May 4. She was the beloved wife of the late Roy L. Selph; devoted sister of George Norris and Dolly Iredale.

Wheatley Edward Ward, Jr., 91, a life-long resident of Mayo, died April 30 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. Wheatley served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from the Federal Government in 1976.
