Donna Rae Selby, 74, Edgewater and Annapolis

Donna Rae (Edwards) Selby, a 40-year resident of Edgewater and Annapolis, MD, died on Monday, April 13, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was 74.

She was born May 5, 1940 in Grantsville, MD, to Stella and the late C. Clayton Edwards. She graduated from Northern High School. Donna was employed as a commercial settlement department supervisor at Buck, Migdal & Cuches law firm in Annapolis for 37 years. She especially loved watching her grandchildren play sports & watching Maryland basketball with her friends and family.

Donna was preceded in death by her partner, Peter Stone.

She is survived by her son, Michael Selby and his wife, Jennifer; two grandsons, Nathan and Clayton, all of Davidsonville, MD; a brother, George Edwards and his wife, Linda of Grantsville, MD; a sister, Sheila Edwards and her husband Donald Richter of Hagerstown, MD; one nephew, Paul Edwards and his wife Emily, three nieces Kristin Edwards, Katie Richter and her husband Dan Moore, Allie Richter and partner Jeremiah Cleman; and her former husband, Ross J. Selby.

Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, on Monday, April 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where a service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m.

A second visitation and service will be held at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, 122 Main Street, Grantsville, MD on Wednesday, April 22 at 11 a.m. (viewing) noon (funeral service). Burial to follow at Grantsville Cemetery.
