Edgewater Man Identified in Fatal Crash, 4 Others Hurt
An Edgewater man died when his car crossed a median and struck a Davidsonville driver's car, injuring four people, police say.

EDGEWATER, MD — The name of an Edgewater man who died in a crash that also injured a Davidsonville driver and her passengers, including two children, was released Monday morning by Anne Arundel County Police. The two-car crash happened about 2:30 p.m. Saturday near Solomons Island Road and Wallace Manor Road in Edgewater.
Police say a 2009 Dodge Challenger was southbound on Solomons Island Road just south of Wallace Manor Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Kurt William Fraser, 52, of the 2800 block of Caraway Court in Edgewater, was behind the wheel, officers say.
The Dodge spun, crossed the concrete median into the northbound lanes of Solomons Island Road, and was struck by a 2006 Honda Accord headed northbound on Solomons Island Road. Fraser was pronounced dead at the scene by Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel.
